Tragic News
Gary and Melba Mecham passed away late in the evening of December 15th due to an electrical fire in their home caused by the lighting on their Christmas tree. More details are available on the Davis County Clipper - Couple killed in Woods Cross fire.
A memorial service was held on December 22nd at the First Baptist Church. A lunch and open house was served by friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Many friends, neighbors and members of First Baptist Church were present. It was a delightful tribute for Melba and Gary.
At 1 p.m. a private memorial service was held. Burial rites were said, and appropriate prayers offered. The family then left to inter the ashes in a family cemetery near Preston, Idaho.
Thanks be to God...We will surely miss them. May they rest in peace.

Serving as a trustee, teacher, choir member, diaconate, et cetera. She has been missed since moving to Welcome Home about 6 years ago. Rest in Peace Shirley, and thanks from all of us.
